We had so much fun last week with cousins in town for Ross's wedding. We had 14 kids under age six...eleven of which are boys. What a blast! The benches we bought for the table proved themselves worthy last week.
The trampoline was also a big hit, along with light sabers, marshmallow shooters, ping pong, foosball, armpit fart shooting...

Ross and Emily Wedding
My brother, Ross, got married in March. Talk about a party wedding. One of the most fun I've had at a wedding. For the record, though, Ned and Rachel's had, hands down, the best food. Maybe we should make a list. We could hand out certificates now that everybody is hitched.
ex. Ross and Emily--"Best Party"
Ned and Rach--"Best Food"
Daniel and Kaylene--"Prettiest Flowers"
Rob and Lori--"Highest Sexual Tension"
These are just ideas.

Avery-The Dancing Queen
Avery Rae loves to dance. It's a new-found love of hers. She danced with ANYBODY at Ross's wedding. She didn't need to know them. We're working on her self-esteem now. We don't want her to fall in love with the first scrappy-haired boy that asks her to dance, do we?
Well...she's still a little mean.

"Good Job" Stickers
We bought a new table last month and I really love it. A few days after our purchase one of the kids got into some stickers and plastered all 18 over the table edge. Eighteen. I spent about 2 hours getting them all off as I'm cursing the messages on each sticker. "Good work"..."Way to Go"..."Awesome Job." Uggh.
I just like this picture.

Mad-a-gas-car
I love conversations I get to overhear from the back of the van.
Carter--I like to watch mannanascar...I mean massanascar.
Matthew--Carter, you're saying it wrong because you are struggling...really struggling (note: struggling WAY over pronounced.)
Carter--Masagascar?
Matthew--Mad-a-gas-car.
Carter--Mom! Matthew said I saying it wrong. And I don't want to be struggling.
Matthew--No, Carter. I just trying to help you! Because you is struggling.
Now if somebody could help them with their sentence structure.

Boys are Sick
I was using the bathroom downstairs and was overcome with the smell of urine (not my own). The bathroom looked clean, but obviously there was something there to make the bathroom smell. So I started cleaning the bathroom and quickly noticed a HUGE puddle of urine sitting underneath the toilet paper stand. I'm talking like a full bladders worth of urine. I called the twins in to ask them who peed all over the bathroom floor to which they both responded, "Mason." Mason of course was at school so I asked them why he did that. I have a hard time cleaning up urine after an almost-7-year old. It's pretty much man-pee at this point. The twins both indicated that Mason was peeing and saw a spider and decided to "drown" the spider and cover up any evidence with the toilet paper holder.
While the twins and I were discussing all of this Avery decided to put on chapstick but was confused by the glue stick bottles and used those instead.
It's going to be a day.
P.S. For those non-medical people including Rob...urine is pee-pee.

We've decided on a name!!
Thanks to all who have helped us in deciding a name for our new little boy!
After much consideration we have decided on...
Rodrigo Scooby-Hans Burnett
In other words, we are no closer to a name than we were before.

Ahhhhhh.....relief.
After spending the majority of the day yesterday in a wedgie, I decided to finally crack open the maternity underwear. I am feeling much better today, and less uptight.
