About a month ago Mason asked me when we were going to the dentist again. I told him he had a cleaning in April. He told me that was good because he had a tooth that was moving around and he wanted the dentist to look at it. Apparently he has no confidence in me. The tooth has been loose about a month and finally came out last Thursday.
He was so excited to have the tooth fairy come and leave a dollar under his pillow. That's this picture. Then we told him the tooth fairy would take his tooth...
That's this picture. Apparently after being sent to bed he realized he did not want to part with his tooth. He came upstairs sobbing about 30 minutes later. Poor boy, and what do I do? I take a picture to document the story. Mean Mommy.

Congratulations Mason. Did he think the dollar was worth the trade for the tooth?
The teary eyes are priceless! Blackmail for the teenage years??? Oh yea!
I always save the first tooth to scrapbook (someday), just an idea if you were forced to keep it.
