How Do We Pacify Our Time?

I don't feel like any of these photos needs explanation, except maybe the last one. But really I don't have a good explanation for that one.

Scared Straight

Avery wanted to straighten her hair today. She looks so different without the curls in the back.

And I didn't realize how long her hair is now.

Austin

Time flies. Austin is 3 months old. He sits up pretty well, he laughs, he coos, he smiles all the time. Come on buddy, show me how you sleep through the night.

May The Force Be With You

Last year's costumes actually fit better this year so we recycled them. I'm not lazy...just resourceful.

We added Yoda this year. He's even cuter than I remember in the movie.

Austin's 2 Month Stats

Since Austin is 3 months old today, I felt I should post his 2 month stats.

Weight: 12 lbs (32%)
Head: 14.8 in (2%)
Length: 21 in (0.2%)

Really I'm just messing with Rob because our kids are so short.

Food Critic

Avery helped me make bread and soup today.

She even made her own loaf.

Apparently I have a "potato peeling" face. You know the face...the one that kids get when they concentrate using scissors. I have the same face when I peel potatoes. It was bugging Avery. She kept telling me to put my tongue back in my face. It's hard to take that kind of criticism from a girl who doesn't mind licking mucous trails off of her upper lip. Yeah...but I'm obnoxious.

Pumpkin Carvers

For the last 4 years, Ned and Rachel have done pumpkins with the kids. They totally love it.

Next year Jack will probably be toddling around.

There was only 1 casualty.
